On September 1, 2021, the EU research project DIT4TraM was officially launched. In the project, 20 twenty knowledge institutions, companies and governments will investigate the extent to which swarm intelligence can be used for traffic and mobility management.
The project will run for three years. The first year and a half will be mainly devoted to research: 8 PhDs and postdocs and their supervisors will work on the theoretical concepts and develop algorithms. In the remaining term, the focus will be on testing in practice. A total of six pilots are planned.
The kick-off meeting, intended for DIT4TraM partners only, will take place on September 29 and 30 and October 1, 2021.
